Backround:
TCS XR Pro is organized as the Virtual reality, augmented reality and mixed reality are the new media that are changing existing ways of consuming and using information and knowledge. Deep experiences are described to create new business models / markets and disrupt existing ones. Seeing the immense potential of these new technological approaches, TCS is organizing Extended Reality Challenge (XR) aimed at getting the best minds to design and develop experiences to solve contextual business problems.
About the Contest:
The PRO Extended Reality (XR) Challenge will consist of three parts: Team Registration and Training, the Prototype Submission Phase and the Grand Final Phase. Candidates are required to provide their contact information via the Campus Commune portal after the registration and training phase of the team. Only registered candidates who have completed team training will be eligible to submit their prototypes for evaluation purposes. The top 5 teams selected will be invited to make a show and say at the Grand Finale the first three coveted awards. This contest is organized as part of the CII Connect 2019

Who Can Apply:
Students from B.E / B.Tech (all branches) and Bachelor of Science in Tamilnadu can participate in the competition
Other points to be noted:
Team size: two (1 team leader + 1 team member)
The team leader of each team will be our contact for any communication related to the contest, which will be responsible for updating the members of the respective team.
The team may belong to the same discipline or be interdisciplinary. In line with current business trends, we encourage the formation of multidisciplinary teams to propose innovative solutions.
The infrastructure required for the development of the solution will be supported by the respective teams or the institutions they represent. TCS will not be responsible for any use or possible damage to the infrastructure that may be caused by participants during the contest.
Entries submitted after the end date of the round / contest will not be considered for the evaluation.
The team is not required to procure any hardware or software, it may offer hardware or use simulators available on the Internet, if necessary.
In the final phase of the contest, each selected team will have to demonstrate the detailed plan with a demonstration.
