About the Training Program:

Certification Course on “Python Programming” is designed for students to provide employability skill training in order to crack the top MNC Employability Contest. The Training is planned as a live session with exclusive coding assessment through online coding platform. The training will be focused on corporate contest hiring with coding assessment for practice with question Corporate hiring pattern .   • 30 hrs-2 hrs/day, 15 days

  • Monday, Wednesday & Friday (Sunday-Reserved)

  • Time: 7.00pm to 9.00pm

WEEK 1

Session 1: 2hrs

Topic: Intro to python + i/o statements

  • What is python?

  • Applications of Python

  • How to install python software?

  • D/B Interactive and script mode

  • Data types, Variables

  • I/O statements

  • Operators

Programs to bet taught

  • Addition of two numbers.

  • Calculating the cut off mark.

  • Compute Voltage using ohm’s law

  • Swapping of two numbers with and without using third variable.

Session 2, 3 & 4: 6 hrs

Topic: Control statements

  • Conditional (Decision Making, Looping Statements)

  • Unconditional statements (Break, Continue and Pass Statements)

  • Pattern Programming

Programs to be taught

  • Check whether a given number is a positive or negative or zero.

  • Finding whether a given number is an even or odd.

  • Calculating university grade.

  • Compute Employee Salary.

  • Generating Series programs

  • Number, Character, Symbol and level 1, 2,3 and 4 including pyramid pattern programs.


WEEK 2:

Session 1: 2 hrs

Topic: Function

  • Need of function?

  • D/B Built-in and User-defined method

  • Function prototype

Programs to be taught

  • Prototype of ATM, Calculator application

Session 2 & 3: 4 hrs

Topic: String

  • Why String is immutable?

  • How to Access python string?

  • Python string operations

Programs to be taught

  • copy one string to another string.

  • to concatenate two strings.

  • to compare two strings.

  • to convert lowercase string to uppercase.

  • to convert uppercase string to lowercase.

  • to find total number of alphabets, digits or special character in a string.

  • to count total number of vowels and consonants in a string.

  • to count total number of words in a string.

  • to find reverse of a string.

  • to check whether a string is palindrome or not.


Week 3:

Session 1 & 2: 4 hrs

Topic: List

  • Need of List?

  • How to create a List?

  • How to access elements in a List?

  • Slicing of a list

  • List Built-in Methods

  • List Comprehension

Programs to be taught

  • Sum of the array elements.

  • Finding number of even and odd elements in a given arrays.

  • Finding the maximum and minimum element in a given array.

  • Finding the Second largest element in a given array.

  • Compute addition, subtraction, multiplication, transpose of a matrix.

  • Sum of the diagonal elements of a given matrix.

Session 3 & 4: 4 hrs

Topic: Tuple

  • Need of Tuple?

  • D/B List & Tuple

  • How to create a List?

  • How to access elements in a tuple?

  • Tuple Built-in Methods

Program to be taught

  • Tuple based programs

Week 4:

Session 1 & 2: 4 hrs

Topic: Dictionary

  • Need of Dictionary?

  • D/B List, Tuple & Dictionary

  • How to create a Dictionary?

  • How to access elements in a Dictionary?

  • Dictionary Comprehension

  • Student and employee management system

Session 3 & 4: 4 hrs

Topic: Python Modules

  • What is meant by module?

  • How to create, import and use module?

  • D/B Built-in and user defined module?

  • Real time applications like calculator
