Aarohan Social Innovation Awards by infosys is in the second edition.The objective of Aarohan Social Innovation Awards is to accelerate innovation, and scale the impact of relevant ideas. They would like to recognize and help individuals, teams or NGOs, who are developing unique solutions for social problems. If you have a unique product or a solution that can make a difference, or know someone who has an idea that can change the world, then here’s your platform.
Aarohan Social Innovation Awards, will provide a platform to celebrate and support such innovations and help you achieve them. With these awards, infosys committed to help leading innovators in the social sector adapt their innovations and improve their lives. The Infosys Foundation awards up to INR 50 lakhs to help relevant innovations grow.

Eligibility:
The Aarohan Social Innovation Awards is open to Indian citizens residing in India who are 18 years of age or older. The directors of Infosys Limited (the "Limited Partner") and employees, the company hosting the Contest Platform ("the Administrator") and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates, the owners, officers, Directors, Partners, Agents, Representatives, Employees and Subcontractors, Advertising Agencies, Promotion Agencies, Web Designers and Web Service Providers (collectively, "Released Parties") and their dependents respective members of the immediate family (parent, child, brother and sister) and persons residing in the same household) are not eligible. Members of the immediate family of one of the judges are also not eligible to participate or win a prize.
All winners of the various categories from the previous season of Aarohan Social Innovation Awards are not eligible for the next three years. However, they can apply from the fourth year with an entirely new innovation / prototype. Individuals whose prototypes were selected last year but did not qualify for the final selection can only apply if they have evidence of significant improvements to their prototypes. Individuals who submitted their contributions last year but have not been selected may re-apply this year.
You may enter as an individual, team or as an NGO:
As an individual: As an individual registrant, you should be a citizen of India, residing in India and must be 18 years of age or older as of September 30, 2019.
As a team: Size of a team consisting of individuals may not exceed a maximum of 3 persons. Each registrant should also be a citizen of India, residing in India and must be 18 years of age or older as of September 30, 2019. You must select one representative to serve as the primary point of contact (“Representative”).
As an NGO (registered and operational in India only): You must select one representative to serve as the primary point of contact (“Representative”). In addition to providing your contact information as the Representative, you must attach Form 80G.
